WHAT IS CCEF?

Chinese Culture and Education Foundation (CCEF) was founded in St. Louis, Missouri as a

non-profit
non-partisan
non-sectarian

cultural and educational organization, certified in Missouri, USA

    OBJECTIVE OF CCEF
  • Promote and recognize Chinese culture and heritage.
  • Cultivate mutual understanding between Chinese Americans and the general public.
  • Understand Chinese American history and accomplishments.
  • Serve as a public media and publication resource for Chinese culture and education related projects.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Chinese Culture and Education Foundation (CCEF) is to promote understanding and cooperation between the Chinese and English-speaking communities in the St. Louis region. The CCEF Board of Directors includes distinguished members of both communities who are dedicated to increasing interest in and understanding of Chinese and Chinese-American culture.

American society is an amalgam of persons coming from many different countries and cultural backgrounds, including China. Through the merging of cultures, Chinese culture has become a part of American culture. The CCEF supports publications, lectures, workshops, and other programs that present to all Americans Chinese culture and its contribution to the American experience.


       CCEF is solely supported by membership dues, individual contributions
       and U.S. corporate sponsorship.
